Convergence of Cyriss

I just wanted to do a blog post about Privateer press's newest faction and how in a previous post I stated I would started playing/collecting a new army being Protectorate of Menoth. After seeing the livestream at templecon and have been following spoilers on the PP forums.  I have changed my mind about collecting menoth and have decided to just head long into collecting and playing CoC.

Few reasons for this first of all being that I was planning on doing a converted Adeptus Mechanicus army using the necron rules. But after hearing about GW's newest trade policies in the regards of getting rid of bits sales and making it harder for retailers to stock certain items via direct sales and general GW business shadiness. I have decided to save myself some money this summer instead of doing a converted army and just use the money I would save for other projects I was interested in like building a foldable terrain board for Warmachine and Hordes.
Aurora's 3d concept art calling it now
Axis, The Harmonic enforcer
I really like the look of the models so far and the lore and mechanics of the faction look solid. So far my two favorite Warcasters are Aurora, Numen of Aerogenisis and Axis. Axis had some rules previewed in yesterdays insider on PP main site, wow is he looking awesome hope he has some defensive spell like iron flesh or defenders wards tho but field marshal: counter charge, while giving all his jacks mat7 is fricken awesome. I hope Aurora is as good if not better then axis cause he is looking good. The warjacks look great they look different enough but don't look completely alien to the setting like Retribution ones do. I really like the look of the units too but my favorites so far Clockwork angels and Reciprocators.Interesting to see what solos if any will be in the faction I heard their was talk about a unit UA that could be attached to different units sounds cool.

But yea so exicted about this new faction I can't wait til june/july to get my hands on this stuff and if owning nercons has taught me anything this is going to be a easy paint scheme.
